Your use of our website and our studio is subject to the following terms and conditions. We reserve the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions from time to time.
Waiver
You are responsible for correctly using our facilities and agree to observe the conditions of the waiver which is as follows:
Exercise carries its own risks. Your health is your responsibility and you accept that Unfurling Space staff are not medically trained. We ask that you do not exercise beyond your own abilities or carry out activities that you know or believe to be unsuitable for you. When attending classes at Unfurling Space, you agree to the following:
1. I am taking part in classes/workshops/events/retreats offered by Unfurling Space during which I will receive guidance about physical movement, breathwork and wellness.
2. I recognise that these classes/events/workshops/retreats may require physical exertion, which may be strenuous and physically challenging and carries with it risks Unfurling Space are unable to entirely eliminate. These risks include the possibility of personal injury. By agreeing to this waiver, I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
3. I understand that I will be sharing a room with other members of the public and potentially increasing the risk of contracting Covid-19 or other viruses, I am fully aware of this risk.
4. We are not qualified to express opinions in relation to physical conditions that may alter your practice. Please obtain specialist advice from your healthcare provider before attending class. By agreeing to this waiver, I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a physician prior to and regarding my participation in this class/event/workshop.
5. I am physically fit and have no medical condition, which would prevent my full participation in this class/event/workshop/retreat.
6. I agree to notify Unfurling Space if my health and/or any medical conditions change/arise.
7. If I am pregnant or become pregnant, I understand that I participate fully at my own risk and that of my unborn child/children.
8. I understand that from time to time during classes/events/workshops/retreats, the instructor may physically adjust students’ form and posture. If I do not want such physical adjustments, I will inform the instructor at each class I attend.
9. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to inform the instructor when an adjustment has gone as far as I desire at that time.
10. There may be occasions when equipment is used during the class/event/workshop/retreat. I assume all responsibility for the use of this equipment.
11. In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, Unfurling Space are not responsible for any theft, damage, destruction or loss of your property or belongings while taking part in class at Unfurling Space. I accept full and sole responsibility from any liability of loss or damage to personal property associated with classes/events/workshops/retreats.
12.I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against Unfurling Space for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in Unfurling Space classes/events/workshops/retreats.
13. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above under my own free will. I understand that all activities I participate in at Unfurling Space classes/events/workshops/retreats are taken at my own risk and I accept all responsibility for my actions.
14. We reserve the right to ask you to leave a class or refuse access to a class if we reasonably consider that your conduct is damaging to our reputation, the experience of other customers, in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or if it would otherwise be in the interests of our other customers.

Age Restrictions
Our Services are not intended for those under the age of 18 unless specifically specified e.g yoga minis/teen yoga or family yoga events. This is due to the insurance policies of our teachers and the experience of our other adult clientele.
Pricing
The information displayed on the website related to pricing and service availability is subject to change by Unfurling Space without notice. Any direct debit changes will be notified in advance.
Payment
If the online booking is paid by debit or credit card, you authorise Unfurling Space to debit the card provided by you without notice to you. Authorised debts include, but are not limited to, all late cancelled or missed classes fines under the monthly memberships. When paying at the studio, you can use any major credit or debit card except AMEX. You can also save your card to your account and pay online for greater convenience.
Unfurling Space Monthly Membership Terms and Conditions:
Space to Ground - 4 classes per month | Space to Unfold - 8 classes per month | Space to Embody - unlimited classes per month
All monthly memberships receive 10% off in house Unfurling Space workshops, events & retreats.
Early access to retreats and event collabs.
Rolling monthly contract. Activates upon the date of sale.
Minimum 2 month commitment then rolling
Pass eligible for all class styles except courses.
Pass valid for use by named pass holders only.
Not eligible for refund or transfer.
Can be paused for a minimum of one month, pause must run in line with direct debit payment dates
The monthly pass can be cancelled but we need at least seven days notice before next month's payment is due.
Space to Unfurl founder membership - same access and terms as Space to Embody above.
Continuity Requirement: To maintain eligibility for the founding membership rate, members must keep their membership active without interruption.
Cancellation and Rejoining: If a member cancels their founding membership and subsequently rejoins, they will no longer qualify for the founding membership rate. Instead, they will be subject to the standard membership rates at the time of rejoining.
Unfurling Space Single or Class Packs Terms and Conditions:
(1x single class, 5x class pack, 10x class pack)
Class packs are valid for use by named pass holders only and are non-refundable.
May be eligible for discretionary extensions priced at £10/month.
Each class pack expiry activates from the date of purchase.
Cancellation policy
At Unfurling Space, we operate cancellation policies depending on your booking type. If you have booked and can no longer attend, please endeavour to cancel prior to the windows outlined below. As a small business, we must honour this policy to ensure the classes and events remain sustainable and out of fairness for both clients, collaborators and venues.
We hope the below information is understandable and fair.
Yoga class cancellation policy: 12hrs.
If cancelled 12hrs before the class/session start time then you will get a full refund/class pass credit return or for privates block booking, the session will not count as part of your block.
Private yoga session cancellation policy: 48hrs.
If cancelled 48hrs before the class/session start time then you will get a full refund/class pass credit return or for privates block booking, the session will not count as part of your block.
Course cancellation policy: 48hrs.
If cancelled 48hrs before the course start time then you will get a full refund.
Event cancellation policy - workshops & mini retreats: 72hrs.
If cancelled 72hrs before the event start time then you will get a full refund.
Event cancellation policy - stay away & day retreats: these larger events have their own staggered cancellation window, please see your specific events t&c’s on your booking form.
Reiki treatment cancellation policy: 48hrs.
If cancelled 48hrs before treatment then you will get a full refund/transfer.
If cancelled after these windows:
No refunds or transfers or you will lose your class pass credit and membership may be subject to additional fees (see below).
Cancellations and Charges
We have a strict 12 hour cancellation policy for group classes, this allows us to protect our very limited mat spaces.
Class Pack / Single Sessions / Limited Class Memberships (4 class p/m; 8 class p/m) Cancellations:
If cancelled within the 12-hour window, you will lose your class credit. No additional fees apply.
Unlimited Monthly Membership Session Cancellations:
Late Cancel Fee - If a cancellation takes place within 12 hours of the start time, a late cancellation fee of £4 will be charged.
No Show Fee - If you miss a class without cancelling, a ‘No Show’ fee of £8 will be charged.
We require that you sign into class prior to the class start time. Please check in with your teacher. Failing to do so will mean you will be listed as a no-show.
Late Cancel/No Show charges will be billed 24 hours after the late cancel or no show from your stored card. Of course, we appreciate that emergencies crop up and life unfolds in unexpected ways, we will handle this on a case-by-case basis - please email hello@unfurlingspace.co.uk.
Valuables Left At Own Risk
We do have lockers at our studios but we cannot guarantee the safety and security of your valuables. Please be mindful of this when deciding what to bring along to class. You are welcome to bring any valuables into the studio space and leave these at the back or by your mat, as desired.
Late Access To Classes
Please do your best to arrive at least five minutes before class so that you can settle in and soak up the goodness from the get go. If you are late for class, please arrive quietly and pop your belongings in the lockers before joining us. This is to preserve the environment for everyone and respect and minimise disruption for our teachers and the whole community. Our studio is on the smaller side and so, arriving late creates quite a stir in the class as we settle in, please do be mindful.
Teaching Arrangements
Unfurling Space provides classes and workshops taught by the best independent teachers. Unfurling Space also provides the space for independent teachers and therapists to provide services such as workshops and treatments. Payments for these services may be taken by Unfurling Space on behalf of the teacher or therapist.
Concessions, Promotions and Discounts
As well as our community mat, we offer some concessions for those in our community who could benefit from our classes but need a little extra support. You are eligible for this 5% discount if you are a full time student, job seeker, person with disabilities or work for the emergency services, NHS or social care sector.
*Our 5% concession rate is only available on full price drop-ins and 5 or 10 class packs, it cannot be used in combination with other promotions and is subject to change. Suitable identification must be provided in the studio to prove eligibility – concessionary discounts cannot be applied yourself online.

Promotions, discounts and concessions cannot be combined or backdated.
Studio Closures
If the studio has to close due to unforeseen circumstances (including but not restricted to pandemics, building works, floods, fires or other emergencies) refunds will not be issued but all passes and memberships will be frozen and extended for the period of time the studio is closed.
Intellectual Property and The Right To Use
You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the Website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us or our licensors.
You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within the Website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may (if necessary to, make a purchase) download such material and content onto only one computer hard drive for such purpose. Any other use of the material and content of the Website is strictly prohibited. You agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.
You grant to us a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use (including but not limited to publishing, exploiting and modifying) any material you email, post or submit to us. For the avoidance of doubt, we will be free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, content, text or images contained in your communications with us for any purpose whatsoever, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Indemnity
You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website, or the use by any other person accessing the Website using your account and/or your Personal Information.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to:
Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or
Change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of the such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.
Compliance With Laws
The Website may be used only for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations regarding the Website and any transactions conducted on or through the Website.
Limitation of Liability
While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the Website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any representation or endorsement made and we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Website, or any transaction that may be conducted on or through the Website including but not limited to, implied warranties of non-infringement, compatibility, security, accuracy, conditions of completeness, or any implied warranty arising from a course of dealing or usage or trade.
We make no warranty that the Website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available is free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the Website. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Website.
To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Products. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your Contract Cancellation Rights.
We will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the Conditions for:
Any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or
Any loss of goodwill or reputation; or
Any special or indirect losses suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under the Conditions.
Nothing in the Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our servants, agents or employees.
Please note incense sticks may be burnt in the communal areas in our studio and, sometimes, in classes.
Severance
If any part of the Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from the Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of the Conditions.
Survival
Each provision of the Conditions shall be construed as separately applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of those provisions is held to be inapplicable or unenforceable in any circumstances.
Law
The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
